U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Extends Public Comment Period for Low-Level Radioactive Waste Regulatory Program

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has extended the public comment period for the Low-Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) Regulatory Program, allowing more time for public input on proposed developments that will impact licensees and states with LLRW disposal sites.
