NRC Proposes Amendments to Medical Use of Byproduct Material Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing amendments to its regulations regarding the medical use of byproduct material. The proposed rule updates training and experience requirements for authorized users and addresses a request to exempt certain board-certified individuals from these requirements.
