U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for Radiation Protection Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public input on a draft regulatory basis that aims to align its radiation protection regulations with the 2007 International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) recommendations, as outlined in ICRP Publication 103 (2007). The NRC plans to use stakeholder comments to inform the development of the draft regulatory basis.
