U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Submits Proposal for Review of Radioactive Waste Disposal Information Collection

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a proposal for review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) regarding the collection of information related to the licensing requirements for land disposal of radioactive waste, as mandated by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The NRC is seeking public comment on this proposal, which was published in the Federal Register on May 7, 2014.
