U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to South Carolina Electric and Gas for Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to South Carolina Electric and Gas (SCE&G) to deviate from the certification information of the generic design control document for the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station (VCSNS), Units 2 and 3, in Fairfield County, South Carolina, as part of License Amendment No. 12 to Combined Licenses (COL) NPF-93 and NPF-94.
