Tennessee Valley Authority Gets NRC Approval for Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant Unit 2 Special Nuclear Materials License Renewal

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has renewed Tennessee Valley Authority's license to possess and store special nuclear material at the Watts Bar site in Tennessee, allowing the utility to continue using fresh fuel assemblies until September 30, 2017.
