U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International's Spent Fuel Storage System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has added Holtec International's HI-STORM Underground Maximum Capacity Canister Storage System, Certificate of Compliance No. 1040, to its list of approved spent fuel storage casks, allowing the company to provide an underground storage option compatible with its HI- STORM FLOOD/WIND System, CoC No. 1032.
