U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendments to Reportable Safety Events Regulations

The NRC is proposing to extend the time frame for submitting written follow-up reports on safety events involving special nuclear material, update the reporting framework, and remove redundant requirements, affecting licensees and applicants with critical mass of special nuclear material.
