U.S. Army Submits License Amendment Application to Terminate Depleted Uranium Materials License at Jefferson Proving Ground

The U.S. Army submitted a license amendment application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on August 28, 2013, to terminate a Materials License for the Depleted Uranium Impact Area at the Jefferson Proving Ground in Indiana, with the intention of conducting an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess potential environmental impacts.
