Duke Energy Progress Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted Duke Energy Progress an exemption to revise its combined license application for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant, allowing the company to update its Emergency Preparedness rules by December 31, 2015, rather than the original deadline of December 31, 2013.
