NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming BMW M3 Convertibles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has accepted a petition from BMW to allow the importation of nonconforming model year 1991 BMW M3 convertible passenger cars into the US, as they meet or can be modified to meet federal safety standards.
