FHFA Adopts Interim Final Rule to Implement Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act of 1986

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has adopted an interim final rule to establish procedures for imposing civil penalties on individuals making false claims or statements related to FHFA's contracting or employment activities with amounts under $150,000, following a proposed rule that was adjusted due to the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015.
