FCC to Hold Open Commission Meeting on July 11, 2014, to Discuss E-Rate Modernization and Rural Broadband Experiments

The Federal Communications Commission will hold an open meeting on July 11, 2014, to consider several reports and orders related to modernizing the E-Rate program, expanding WiFi support for schools and libraries, and rural broadband experiments, including the Connect America Fund and closed captioning of internet-delivered video programming.
