FCC Allocates Channel 286A to Haynesville, Louisiana, to Prevent Removal of Local Service

The Audio Division of the FCC has allocated Channel 286A at Haynesville, Louisiana, as a 'backfill' allotment to ensure the community can maintain its first local service, pending a hybrid application for Station KIMW, Channel 288A, which is being relocated to Heflin, Louisiana. The site is 4.6 kilometers south of Haynesville, meeting the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements.
