FCC Extends Narrowband Spectrum Deadline, Enhances Public Safety Use
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has relaxed rules governing the 700 MHz public safety narrowband spectrum, allowing licensees to extend the life of existing systems and providing greater flexibility for public safety use, effective December 2016.
