FDA to Host Public Meeting on Patient-Focused Drug Development for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders

The FDA is seeking public comment on its Patient-Focused Drug Development initiative for functional gastrointestinal disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome and chronic constipation, as part of its performance commitments under the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA V).
