FDA Authorizes Emergency Use of Ebola Diagnostic Device

The Food and Drug Administration has issued an Emergency Use Authorization for an in vitro diagnostic device to detect the Ebola Zaire virus, following a 2014 outbreak in West Africa and a determination that the virus poses a material threat to national security.
