FDA Releases Guidance on Biosimilarity of Therapeutic Protein Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has finalized a guidance document outlining quality considerations for demonstrating the biosimilarity of a therapeutic protein product to a reference product, intended to facilitate the submission of marketing applications through an abbreviated licensure pathway.
