FDA Issues Emergency Use Authorization for Enterovirus D68 Diagnostic Device

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted emergency use authorization for an in vitro diagnostic device to detect Enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) strains, following a public health emergency determination by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary on February 6, 2015.
