FDA Modernizes Current Good Manufacturing Practice Requirements for Human Food

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulation to incorporate hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls for human food, as mandated by the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, and to clarify exemptions for certain facilities.
