FDA Proposes Renaming Pediatric Hospital Beds and Establishing Special Controls for Medical Cribs and Bassinets

The FDA is proposing to rename pediatric hospital beds as pediatric medical cribs and establish special controls for these devices, as well as a separate classification regulation for medical bassinets, which would require prescription use and adhere to CPSC mattress flammability standards.
