FDA Confirms Effective Date for Selenium-Added Infant Formula Rule

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed that the effective date for its final rule on selenium-added infant formula is June 22, 2016, which was published in the Federal Register on June 23, 2015, and amends the regulations on nutrient specifications and labeling for infant formula to include selenium as a required nutrient with established minimum and maximum levels.
