FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Veterinary Feed Directive Common Format Questions and Answers

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a draft guidance document titled 'Veterinary Feed Directive Common Format Questions and Answers' (Guidance #233) to help industry clients, veterinarians, and distributors quickly identify relevant information on the Veterinary Feed Directive (VFD) form. The draft guidance recommends a common VFD format, which was first introduced in the FDA's final rule on June 3, 2015.
