FDA Confirms Effective Date for Mica-Based Pearlescent Pigments in Distilled Spirits

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is confirming the effective date of November 2, 2015, for a final rule that amended color additive regulations to allow the safe use of mica-based pearlescent pigments in certain distilled spirits. This change was published in the Federal Register on September 30, 2015.
