US Department of Justice Amends Regulations for DNA Sample Collection from Immigration Detainees

The US Department of Justice has updated its regulations to require DNA sample collection from individuals arrested, charged, or convicted, as well as non-US persons detained by the US, restoring the Attorney General's authority to oversee the process.
