FDA Approves Cenobamate for New Drug Application, DEA to Place in Schedule V

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a new drug application for XCOPRI (cenobamate) tablets on November 21, 2019, leading to a recommendation by the Department of Health and Human Services to place cenobamate in schedule V of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).
