Bureau of Prisons Expands Video Visitation and Telephone Services for Inmates Under CARES Act

The Bureau of Prisons has amended its regulations to allow federal inmates to use free video-teleconferencing and telephone services during the national emergency related to COVID-19, as mandated by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
