Justice Department Prohibits Issuance of Improper Guidance Documents

The Department of Justice has issued a rule to prohibit the issuance of improper guidance documents, as outlined in a 2017 memo by Attorney General Jefferson B. Sessions III, in line with the 2019 Executive Order Promoting the Rule of Law Through Improved Agency Guidance Documents.
