U.S. FDA Approves New Drug Application for Remimazolam, DEA Places in Schedule IV

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved a new drug application for remimazolam, a medication for intravenous use, on July 2, 2020. The Drug Enforcement Administration has placed remimazolam in Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act, following a recommendation from the Department of Health and Human Services.
