DOJ Publishes Final Rule Amending EOIR Regulations

The Department of Justice published a final rule on August 26, 2019, updating the regulations related to the internal organization of the Executive Office for Immigration Review, following comments received on an interim final rule published in 2019, which made changes to the establishment of EOIR's Office of Policy, clarifications to the organizational role of EOIR's Office of the General Counsel and Office of Legal Access Programs, and updates to the Department's organizational regulations to align with EOIR's regulations.
