Hospital Requests Waiver from Organ Procurement Organization Agreement Requirement for Medicare and Medicaid Programs

A hospital has requested a waiver from the requirement to have an agreement with its designated Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) for its Organ Procurement Service Area, as per section 1138(a)(2) of the Social Security Act, and is seeking public comments on the matter.
