U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Extends Public Comment Period for Rufa Red Knot Listing Proposal

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is extending the public comment period for its proposal to list the rufa red knot as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 until June 15, 2014, allowing interested parties to attend a second public hearing in North Carolina and provide additional comments. The public informational session will precede the hearing.
