Agusta S.p.A. to Update Airworthiness Directive for A109E Helicopters
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is revising an airworthiness directive (AD) for Agusta Model A109E helicopters to address fatigue failure of the tail rotor (T/R) blades, following the manufacturer's redesign of the T/R grip bushing to reduce loads and prevent cracking.
