USDA Extends Comment Period for Organic Assessment Exemption Rule

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended the comment period for proposed modifications to the organic assessment exemption regulations until February 17, 2015, allowing more time for public input on the proposed rule, which aims to expand the exemption to cover all organic products certified under the National Organic Program.
