US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Over-Snow Vehicle Use Designation in Lassen National Forest

The US Forest Service will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for a proposal to designate over-snow vehicle use as allowed, restricted, or prohibited on roads, trails, and areas within the Lassen National Forest, with the goal of balancing public safety and natural and cultural resource protection.
