Retraction of Salt River Allotments Vegetative Management EIS Notice of Intent

The US Forest Service has published a Notice of Intent (NOI) for the Salt River Allotments Vegetative Management Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which assesses the environmental impact of various activities along the Salt River, including white water rafting, wilderness preservation, and planned livestock grazing. The NOI was published on May 25, 2011.
