US Farm Service Agency Proposes Changes to Payment Eligibility for Active Farmers

The Farm Service Agency (FSA) is proposing to revise regulations to clarify the requirements for a person to be considered actively engaged in farming for payment eligibility under certain FSA and Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) programs, as mandated by the 2014 Farm Bill.
