U.S. Department of Agriculture to Reconsider Roadless Area Conservation in Colorado

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is launching a supplemental environmental impact statement to revive the North Fork Coal Mining Area exception in Colorado's National Forest System, allowing for temporary road construction for coal exploration and related activities in a 19,100-acre area.
