Salmon-Challis National Forest to Analyze Geothermal Development Proposal

The US Forest Service will prepare an environmental impact statement to assess the potential effects of geothermal development on approximately 5,600 acres in the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Idaho, and will decide whether to proceed with leasing and under what conditions.
