Texas Valley Citrus Committee Recommends Decrease in Assessment Rate for Oranges and Grapefruit Grown in Lower Rio Grande Valley

The Texas Valley Citrus Committee has recommended a decrease in the assessment rate for oranges and grapefruit grown in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas, from $0.11 to $0.08 per 7/10-bushel carton, effective for the 2015-16 fiscal period and beyond.
