U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security Amends Export Regulations to Support Syrian Reconstruction

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has implemented a limited waiver to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to facilitate the export of essential commodities and technology to support the Syrian people and aid in reconstruction efforts, as authorized by the Syria Accountability and Lebanese Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2003 and Executive Order 13338.
