EPA Promulgates Federal Implementation Plan to Address Regional Haze in Montana

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving a Federal Implementation Plan (FIP) to address regional haze in the State of Montana, following the state's decision not to submit a revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) in 2006. The plan aims to meet the Clean Air Act's requirements for reasonable progress towards preventing future and remedying existing visibility impairment in Class I areas.
