EPA Proposes Rule to Update National Priorities List Under CERCLA

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a rule to update the National Priorities List (NPL), a list of hazardous sites across the United States, under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). The proposed rule adds seven sites to the General Superfund section, one site to the Federal Facilities section, and corrects errors in the NPL, while withdrawing one site from proposal.
