CNCS Finalizes Rule for National Service Criminal History Checks

The Corporation for National and Community Service has adopted a final rule requiring grantees to conduct criminal history checks on individuals in covered positions, including AmeriCorps State and National participants, Senior Companions, and Foster Grandparents, who began working or serving on or after April 21, 2011.
