US Establishes Tolerances for Buprofezin Residues in Various Commodities

The US government has set tolerances for the insecticide buprofezin on multiple food items, replacing existing tolerances for certain commodities and correcting spelling errors. The decision was made in response to a request from the Interregional Research Project 4 (IR-4) and Nichino America Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
