EPA to Partially Remove Torch Lake Superfund Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 is issuing a Notice of Intent to partially remove the Torch Lake Superfund Site in Michigan from the National Priorities List, removing parcels of contaminated land and requesting public comments. The move follows completion of all response actions under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980.
