EPA Proposes Determination of Attainment for Chico Nonattainment Area in California
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to determine that the Chico nonattainment area in California has met the 2006 fine particle standard, based on quality-assured air monitoring data from 2009-2011, and if finalized, would suspend certain Clean Air Act requirements for the area as long as it continues to meet the standard.
