US Department of the Navy Announces Plans to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Surplus Properties at Naval Station Newport

The US Department of the Navy is preparing an Environmental Impact Statement to assess the potential environmental effects of reusing surplus properties at Naval Station Newport in Rhode Island, as mandated by the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1990.
