EPA Partially Approves, Disapproves Arizona's Air Quality Implementation Plan Revisions
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has partially approved and disapproved Arizona's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions for the 1997 ozone and fine particulate matter national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS). The EPA has identified several deficiencies that must be addressed within a two-year deadline, with the option for Arizona to revise its plan before then.
