EPA Approves Michigan's Fine Particulate Matter Emissions Inventory

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Michigan's 2005 base year emissions inventory for fine particulate matter (PM 2.5), a key component of the state's State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision, which aims to meet federal air quality standards in the Detroit-Ann Arbor nonattainment area.
